AKI Security Training Center
Postsecondary Training Center
MISSION:
The need for professional security services has become a must in many areas of life & proper training in the security field is where it all begins. The personal security field is ridden with unlicensed companies, as well as uncertified and insufficiently trained individuals calling themselves bodyguards and thereby deceiving clients & exposing consumers to unwanted risks.
TV & press reports about security guards instigating physical altercations are a common occurrence. The goal of the BODYGUARD TRAINING CENTER course program aims to provide proper personal security training in line with existing state requirements and certifications, as well as education about the ethical aspects & challenges involved with the profession in order to prevent costly lawsuits for clients carrying personal security and maintain a positive public image of these often high profile individuals.
THE COURSE:
The course takes place during weekend, evening & night sessions to accommodate participants needs of working regular business hours. The number of course participants will limit to 10 per course to ensure the highest level of training & education for the individual participant.
The course is designed to train & educate individuals who are looking to become Executive Protection Specialists. The course includes classroom introduction & theoretical classes, practical application & field training.
Evaluation of the participant is based on a scoring program, as well as letter grade. Participants must pass each sections of the course to obtain certification.
The course is broken down into modules with each module approximately lasting about 4 to 16 hours in duration. This will allow instructors to take the proper amount of time needed to diligently teach the class content, as well as answer questions & discuss hypothetical scenarios with the participants of the program.
Theoretical modules are taught in a classroom setting with AKI Security providing the facilities needed. The Martial Arts module & field training modules will be conducted at various locations, e.g. shooting range, field location, training gym.
